OFFICERS OF VALOR: FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!

GO TO THE OOV FORUM NOW!

RULES FOR PLAYING.
Welcome to the Rules for Playing section!  Either you are new or are already an Officer, it is very important for you to understand how the Officers of Valor Clan actually plays, communicates, and does all kinds of other Internet activities together, like tournaments.  First of all, get familiar with what we do as Officers...

What The OoV Clan is All About:

HAVING FUN!
The first and most important rule for the Officers of Valor is to have fun.  This goes along with victory or defeat conditions, through strategic gain or loss.  We are all here, as Officers, to have fun and be together on the virtual battlefield. And most importantly, having fun means to spread the word about kindness, and the meaning of Officers of Valor!

PLAYING TOGETHER!
One of the reasons Officers of Valor Clan was created is to have fun TOGETHER and play with one another, either on teams or against each other; either way, it is lots of fun! We can set up games with each other through the Officers of Valor Forum, tell stories about incredible games, and simply discuss things about the clan.

The Officers of Valor forum was created so that we can set up tournaments, leisurely play, and share wonderful stories of battles that we have had over the Internet. The most important rule is to spread the Officer of Valor code, which includes kindness, enjoyment, and of course valor on the battlefield! The Officers of Valor is a safe haven for those that want to enjoy American Conquest.

LEISURELY PLAY!
Yes, we can play with leisure and against others NOT familiar with the OoV Clan. The important thing to remember is that the Officers of Valor should carry the rules through when even playing leisurely; we are to show kindness, respect, and uphold the OoV rules! It is much more enjoyable and a great experience this way!

JOINT SESSIONS!
We will have Joint Sessions with other Clans to have fun with them.  We will have tournaments through Joint Sessions, leisurely play, and lots of other fun! By having a Joint Session with another clan, we state that we are allies with such a clan and we enjoy their rules, presence, and members!

RESPECT AND KINDNESS PREVAIL IN VALOR!
It is VERY important to remember the respect that we must have for one another!  By joining and participating in the Officers of Valor, all Officers understand that there is no cussing aloud in any games, forum posts, or any other events, and you completely agree with the American Conquest Fansite Terms and Agreements! To keep the fun flowing, there is a code of respect for everyone that participates.

Officers should always remember that when playing, either against another Officer of Valor or someone else, we represent the Officers of Valor Clan in any case.  To make the best impression, we are to show kindness, no cussing, no rudeness, arguements, no promotion of any adult websites or anything else relevant, and this all goes along with the Terms of Agreement from the AC Fansite. We are all here to have fun and to enjoy ourselves, either by playing another Officer or another player, by posting on the forum - have fun and respect each other! Thanks!

NO LYING, CHEATING, OR STEALING!
We have a policy of no lying, cheating, or stealing. You cannot lie about any Internet wins/losses, or anything else relevant, or in any situation involved with the OoV Clan.  You are not allowed to cheat over the Internet, or steal anything from any player, being anything.  We want for you to enjoy playing and having fun with our fellow Officers!

WE DO NOT ALLOW THE “ORANGE CHEAT CODE” or ANY OTHER GAMING CHEATS!  ALL OFFICERS DO NOT USE THE COLOR ORANGE.

RESPECT THE OoV CLAN.
You are not allowed to say anything against the OoV Clan, not even if you become a Banned Member.  At all times, we want our Officers to respect the clan and really enjoy the code of the Officers. This is very important to us, with respecting the clan as a whole, and its individual members.

BANNING MEMBERS.
You understand, as an Officer or a soon-to-be new Officer, that banning members is our right with justified reasons, and is not questionable. If we hear or know that an Officer does not follow the rules and is "rebelling" against the rules, then we have a right to ban any Officer with nessecary reasons. We also have the right to NOT allow certain people to become Officers, either because of their history, or due to witnessing of bad behavior, or because the Clan is large enough.  Banning members is a saddening thing that we would really like to avoid, so just have fun, and keep the code of the OoV Clan!

HOW WE PLAY.

Settings We Play With...

We usually play with certain settings with both Cossacks and American Conquest.  These settings ensure a fun, loyal, and very exciting game either with playing Cossacks and American Conquest. Please understand the settings:

  • Peace Time.  We usually play with no less than 30 minute Peace Time in our games.  This rule blocks rushing and unrealistic battles.
  • Follow the Rules.  Certain rules that are discussed before a game should be followed.  These rules include conditions that are agreed upon before a game
  • Other Options. Other options of AC and Cossacks games should be discussed and agreed upon in a gentlemen manner. They should be followed throughout the game, and agreed upon before entering a game!

Well, those are the generalized rules that us Officers usually play with.  It is important to remember these rules when playing us Officers :o)  These are fun rules and provide us Officers with GREAT and FUN games!
